The love of guacamole is not worth going to prison.
Then again, Aaron Michael Brown, 33, apparently didn't feel that way.
On Monday, Brown was sentenced in Oakland County Circuit Court to up to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to shooting a Chipotle restaurant worker on Evergreen in Southfield on April 5, 2024, because he felt he wasn't given enough guacamole, the Detroit News reports.
Specifically, he got 1 to 10 years in prison for an assault charge and another two years for a count of felony firearm.
After getting into an argument with an employee, he eventually went behind the counter and filled a cup with guacamole. An employee then knocked the guacamole out of his hands.
Brown then pushed the employee against a refrigerator and shot him in the knee,
