Samantha Woll and suspect Michael Manuel Jackson-Bolanos
Friends of Samantha Woll, the downtown Detroit synagogue president who was murdered last October, took the stand to testify Monday in Wayne County Circuit Court.
The friends have been asked about her person life, including who she dated.
The defendant, Michael Jackson-Bolanos, 29, of Detroit is charged in her murder. Spots of what is believed to be Woll's blood were found on his North Face jacket he wore that night, along with a backpack.
The defense is trying deflect the accusations and suggest the real suspect may be one of her love interests.
